Halloween going on Thanksgiving

Halloween was relaxing and cold! We had a work day at school this year, due to Halloween falling on a Friday. PERFECT!!! I can only imagine how the students would have been that day.

Maddie went to daycare as usual and afterwards she got dressed up (for her Daddy) as a pea pod. We went to Outback together and had dinner so Daddy could show her off. I placed a basket of candy out on the front porch for the Trick or Treaters, with a note that said "Trick or Treat the Baby is Asleep". This was perfect! Maddie and I relaxed and went about our normal bedtime routine unbothered. (Our neighborhood gets tons of kids)

On the 6th of November, Maddie, Mike, and I rode to Raliegh together so Mike and I could attend a dinner at the Angus Barn. Maddie and I hung out with Aunt Shirley while Mike attended a work meeting. We had a great time playing and talking! After the meeting Mike came back and picked me up and we got all prettied up and went back to the barn for dinner.

The dinner was an Outback event, for the top 10 performers in North and South Carolina (the Board of Champions. We ate down in the wine cellar at a large oak table that sat 30 people. We recieved white glove service and ate 4 great courses! The whole experience was wonderful to say the least, and wow what a great nite out as a couple!

What a wonderful world it will be!
