Babies Room

Had a great weekend! Mom and Uncle Bev came this weekend to visit with Mike and I. While they were here they did a fantastic job putting together Maddie's room. We decided on two themes for her room. We have classic Winnie the Pooh, and Rabbit's. The mixture of the two make for a classical storybook combination she is sure to love. So here is a BIG SHOUT OUT of THANKS for Mom and Uncle Bev for all the time, hard work, and love they put into baby Maddie's room. I love you both!

2008

Well Happy New Year to everyone! I know that something like 80% of New Years resolutions are broken, but hears to tryin! I personally have made two resolutions that I can hopefully keep. #1 Shop at Walmart only on Saturday or Sunday each week and stick to a shopping list. #2 Eat out only once/twice a week. Doing good so far. Hope what ever you have promised to yourself is something you can stick with too. I figure my resolutions will help save money and maintain a semi-normal weight in my condition.

Anyway, went to the doctor on Dec. 31, and everything looks good. Blood pressure is good (YEAH!) and I only gained 5 lbs over the holidays (YUCK). I am 22 wks. and go back again later this month, for my glucose test (gestational diabetes) and I am positive everything will be just great! I will keep you posted.

Michael is doing great! He had a stellar month at work. The store is doing better than it has done in a while. He really has a nack for swooping in and getting things on track. I guess that's why the choose this store for us. (it needed saving) What a superman! He has the day off today and we went shopping for house hold stuff. Mike is proving to be a great handy man around the house. Today he hung a huge picture in our living room and made one of the light switches for he dinning room into a dimmer switch. What a keeper!

Well have a great New Year and don't forget to keep checking for new posts... Love you! MB
