Hey Dad "Here I Am!"

Here is the babys' first picture. See that smaller looking bean shaped object inside the darker hole ( with the dotted line going across) thats it! The doctor says I am 8 weeks and 6 days today, and my due date in May 9, 2008. Super exciting! I heard the heart beat at 171bmp, which the doctor says is perfect! She measured baby at about 1 inch long. Isn't the internet so exciting! Michael is in New Bern today, so I can share our first picture on the net. Shout out to the proud papa to be!

We are trying to buy a house...

Another piece of exciting news is that we are trying to by a house. I could tell you all about it but instead I think I will just show you. Enjoy the pictures.

We're moving!

We also found out on Monday that Michael has recieved a new store... in New Bern, North Carolina. So we are moving. Hopefully by Oct. 10. Michael is leaving for New Bern on Sunday and I am going to stay behind here in Kernersville and work a little bit longer. Even though we are excited about the move, we are still a bit nervous about moving so far away from the home we have known so long. It really is a beautiful coastal city, surrounded by the Nuese River and the Trent River. I have included a picture of the "warf" were yachts of all sizes are docked and waiting to head out to sea.

After a few months of practicing, we have concieved. Monday night around 10:45, I took a test which proved positive. So exciting, check out the blog for more updates and pictures!

Summers End

Just got back from St. Louis yesterday. I had such a great trip! I am glad to be back home though. Michael and I celebrated with a nice dinner at Ruby Tuesday, some Walmart time, and best of all some R and R at home together. While I was in STL, I went on the 4th annual Katy Henry Float trip, where I camped out for two days with friend, then went back to Sarah and Chips house were I played with Alex and Sarah for a couple of days. Alex is such a big boy! Enjoy these pictures!
